Hills Prescription Diet Canine

Hills Prescription Diet Canine

My Schnoodle (Schnauzer / poodle mix), the prescription science diet for one year. Recently she had a bad bladder infection with crystals, which lasted two months, to resolve them. The urine pH was also extinguished. During this time, she took drugs and was on Hills Prescription Diet W / D. The urine pH back to normal with a special Hills Prescription Diet, and eliminating the drugs, infections and crystals.
Now that my dog is healthy again, the veterinarian recommended that they avoid subjecting Canine w / d term for the formation of crystals and bladder stones. I trust this vet, my dog, because he, the doctor her whole life was and is very good. I was just concerned about the nutritional value of dog W / D, because everything I've read about commercial dog food versus organic dog food. Do you have dog food? Does your dog have thrived on it? Hill's Prescription Diet Canine
The actual size of the Science Hills Prescription Diet Canine is rather large and round-is same size as a marshmallow (but not so soft, of course!). My dog loved her immediately, and has no problems with her little mouth around them! She seems to have learned any problems with chewing know about them.
Other suggestions from our vet
The doctor said we could choose whether a high dose supplement dog food of our choice if we wanted. Prior to this advice, and for several years, we feed them a dry lamb and rice dog food combination. He suggested that we now have the two-and feed her in the morning and it was a much smaller mixed meal in the evening. We do this to "their reward" after having done their duty for their nightly walk.
But the doctor gave me some further advice on maintaining our Pug, which surprises me. He said that I had always thought that dry dog food was adequate, but apparently it is not enough, at least for older dogs. He advocates a holistic approach to nutrition of the dog, so we have decided to follow his advice.
Now, our dog goes crazy to wait while I told her "breakfast" cook! She actually dances in a circle over their food Hills Prescription Diet Canine!
