Abady Dry Canine Dog Food

Abady Dry Canine Dog Food

Abady Dog Food is made and manufactured by, The Robert Abady Dog Food Company. Abady makes products for both dogs and cats. Abady dry dog food comes in the following formulas:
Right - Abady is lousy. That is why a giant breed dog who was breed, raised and kept on it her entire life, set a record of living to over 14 in her breed where 10- 12 is normal - and was the 2nd in her breed in 70 years to finish in the top 28 at Westminster and went BIS at her specialty and was BIS at over 25 all-breed shows and went onto produce a bitch who was the 3rd in her breed to finish in the top at Westminster, went on to the #10 show dog in the US of all breeds with multiple BIS wins, then got 11 performance degrees and who, at the age of nearly 10, was the first of her breed to be invited to, and successfully competed at, the Eukanuba National Agility Championships and will be running the Championships again in 2009 at 10 1/2 years old and her 3/4 brother (son of the 1st dog) is a Champion in 2 countries and the #1 sire in the breed yep, Abady dogs all and for their entire lives and the kennel that uses this food for these dogs is widely known for extremely sound puppies and having virtually no health problems among the adult dogs (ear or skin infections etc.)
Having just said good bye to a nearly 19 year old JR that ate Abady dry canine dog food M&S for 15 years, I can honestly say this food has no equal. During that time, she never had a hot spot, ear infection, rash, lameness, nothing. She ate 1/3rd of a cup every day for 15 years.
I have a large breed dog now that I started on an Abady/Raw diet and now am totally on Abady M&S, 2.5 cups for a 95lb dog.
People drawn into high end kibbles don’t realize that even the better ones are mostly grain. Abady is 80% animal protein by weight. The proof is in the poop, because even with no fillers to form a hard stool. Abady clean-up is a breeze. You have to give it a week though.I wish more dog food treats would use pork fat because it has no equal. Most don’t due to cost and consumer reaction. Sled dogs get bacon fat when they train.
I have read some of the reviews below mentioning sub-par ingredients but those posts are from people that just read labels and The Whole Dog Journal.
Abady is protein-packed and exactly what a dog needs. If the company put the food in other than a brown paper box, they would have to build another plant to keep up with demand. The stuff is that good.
